Reality Check

We met with both my surgeons last week (Holly Michaelson, general surgeon and Simone Topal,  reconstructive plastic surgeon ). We now have a clearer picture of what's happening and when. We have another full week of appointments coming up, including a second opinion at Baystate Medical.  Looking forward to a few weeks of reprieve, and then the long road to recovery begins with a bilateral mastectomy on Jan. 2. Bring on 2013!
